Gluten Free Weekly Meal Plan: May 18-22, 2015
It's strawberry season here in France, so I'm happy to be able to make my strawberry BBQ sauce again with local, fresh berries. There are also a ton of fresh asparagus hanging around at the market, so I have added a simple asparagus side dish to this week's meal plan as well. Happy eating!

I'm writing this from Lloret de Mar on the Costa Brava in Spain, looking out over the resort grounds from my balcony.
Although I'm currently enjoying some time at the Evenia Olympic Suites resort, it's back home tomorrow and back to reality on Monday.
Here's what we're eating this week! Links in RED will click through to detailed recipes when available.

Happy Celiac Awareness Month!
Greetings from Spain, where we are spending the first few days of May enjoying the sunshine on the Costa Brava before it's back to Paris on Sunday. What does travel have to do with Celiac Awareness, you ask? Plenty!
As a family that travels a lot, we try to bring awareness of the need for safe, gluten free food in every destination we visit. As the gluten free food trend grows, so does the impression that it's just that- a trend. I make a point to try and educate and inform people about what a medically necessary gluten free lifestyle truly means, and about how sick one can get by consuming foods that contain gluten if they have Celiac Disease of Non Celiac Gluten Sensitivity.
